Forming an Effective Information Systems Advisory Board

Abstract: An increasing number of accreditation agencies are requiring institutions of higher learning to have program specific advisory boards. This paper describes a systematic approach that administrators can strategically use for recruiting, nurturing, and strengthening relationships with targeted advisory board members. This systematic approach was successfully implemented at universities where the author has held administrative duties.
